Paterson is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Paterson follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you are looking for authentic, incredible Mediterranean food for the entire family, Al Basha in Paterson is an absolute must-visit. From the second we sat down, we were impressed by how amazingly clean the entire restaurant was. The service was insanely fast, and our food arrived almost immediately after ordering. One of the best highlights has to be the complimentary, unlimited hot flatbreadโmade fresh right there and brought to the table piping hot. Everything we ordered was packed with authentic flavor and completely delicious. What truly sets Al Basha apart, though, is their top-notch customer service and management. I ordered the fried cauliflower, which was just a bit overdone/burnt for my taste. Without any hassle or awkwardness, the management quietly removed it from our final bill. That level of attention and hospitality is rare. Highly recommended for family dinners, quick lunches, or any occasion. We will definitely be back!

On weekends the wait time can easily be 45 minutes so do consider this before coming as this place is packed on weekends. The hot bread kept coming and we kept eating. It's the softest pita bread you'll ever have. I won't even call it pita, it's that good. Tried their plater that has 4 different kinds of meats. All of them were well seasoned and not overcooked. I tried their shawarma as well. It's very soft. Perfectly tender but it could use some filling though. Mint drink was also great. I can't recall all the dishes but everything was good. Service isn't the best which is fine because they're constantly very busy on weekends. If you've never been there, I'd highly recommend you give it a try.

If you are looking for the absolute best Middle Eastern food in New Jersey, Al Basha in Paterson is a must-visit! We ordered an incredible spread featuring perfectly seasoned lamb chops, fresh falafel, savory dips, and warm, fluffy pita bread. Every single dish was packed with authentic flavor and tasted exceptionally fresh. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is super aesthetic and clean with beautiful decor, making it a great spot for a date night or a weekend hangout with friends and family. The staff is also wonderfully welcoming and attentive. Whether you're sharing a massive meat platter or grabbing a quick bite, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

AlโBasha โ Paterson, NJ AlโBasha in Paterson delivers an absolutely outstanding Middle Eastern dining experience. The fresh bread alone sets the tone โ perfectly soft and fluffy on the inside with just the right texture on the outside. The falafel is extra crunchy with a tender interior, exactly how great falafel should be โ something you rarely find done this well. The baba ghanouj (imtabil) has a deep, smoky richness that immediately stands out, with an incredible texture that makes every bite memorable, all without the overpowering acidity you sometimes get from eggplantโbased dishes. The hummus is smooth, fluffy, and beautifully balanced with a hint of lemon and just the right drizzle of olive oil โ simple, clean, and perfectly executed. The shawarma is exceptional โ tender meat with perfect texture, the right cut, and just enough fat to deliver full flavor. The kabobs are soft, juicy, and kissed with a subtle smoky finish โ honestly some of the best Iโve had in my entire life. Even the steak is impressively soft, tender, and seasoned with precision. When the chicken arrived at my table, the bright red color and charโgrilled exterior told me everything I needed to know โ an

Al Basha dine-in was an amazing experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even though the wait was long because it was a Christian holiday and the restaurant was very busy, the staff handled everything extremely well and stayed professional the whole time. A special thank you to Wassim for the amazing commercial gesture after we previously had a less-than-great takeout experience. That really showed class, care, and true professionalism. It made a big difference and turned things around for us. Having worked in similar restaurants myself, I can honestly say you can tell when a place has a strong team, and Al Basha definitely does. The coordination, attitude, and service stood out. Great food, great hospitality, and a team that knows how to manage pressure the right way. We will definitely be coming back.
